The MIRROR Grant, administered by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, funds projects that reduce the environmental impacts of packaging, paper, and food serviceware—especially initiatives that replace single-use products with reusable systems.
Key details:
✔️ Open to school districts statewide
✔️ Funding may support equipment, infrastructure, operations, staffing, and education
✔️ Projects must demonstrate measurable waste reduction and environmental impact
While the MIRROR grant is open to any eligible applicant in Oregon, Bold Reuse is currently focusing our hands-on program and grant support on high-volume school districts located within 50 miles of:
Portland
Salem
Eugene
Bend
Grants Pass
This allows us to ensure strong operational outcomes, efficient logistics, and successful long-term reuse programs.
If your district is outside these regions, you may still apply independently for the MIRROR grant — and we’re happy to share high-level guidance during the webinar.
