We’re embarking on the next phase of our story – expanding our footprint across the PNW region, and to new markets across the US. We’re looking for an account executive with the ambition and passion to make a difference and eliminate waste.  

 

The Sales Account Manager owns the end-to-end customer relationship including crafting, identifying, and closing sales, and manages existing accounts for Bold Reuse within the Pacific Northwest (specifically Seattle and Portland Markets). As the individual who represents Bold Reuse and is the main connection point with our customers and prospects, we are looking for a self-starting closer who can build a pipeline, close that pipeline quickly, and support existing clients.  Your ability to keep a customer motivated, on track, and being a customer advocate, is essential to your success. You bring high energy, and are motivated to make your customers successful, and take the time to understand their objectives, goals and requirements for partnering with Bold Reuse. You are organized and can juggle multiple customers and/or projects at once. You execute well under pressure and have a passion for life and hard work.

 

You Will:

  • Actively pursue, develop, and close new enterprise accounts (Sports & Entertainment, Schools, Food Service) while achieving sales goals and quotas.
  • Develop strategic plans for penetrating and closing accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across various departments within customer organizations, including Sustainability, Marketing, Operations, and Procurement.
  • Project manage complex sales and initiatives in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Define the overall approach for specific territories and regions, develop work plans, and create compelling sales propositions using internal and external data.
  • Develop and implement best practices for client onboarding, client trainging, and sales.
  • Establish and monitor metrics to measure the growth and performance of accounts, providing reports as needed.
  • Create persuasive sales and customer QBR presentations based on market trends and relevant case studies.
  • Maintain a high level of industry knowledge, including life cycle analysis, product offerings, pricing, discounts, promotions, forecasting, price modeling, P&L understanding, and contract development.
  • Update and maintain the CRM system, providing regular reports to senior leadership.

 

You Have:

  • 5-7 years’ experience selling at the executive level to enterprise corporations (Sales Experience with Top 100 Foodservice National Accounts or large Event Venues is  preferred).
  • Experience working with a small, fast growing startup. 
  • Demonstrated success in growing business volume
  • Experience in complex sales environments, demonstrating success in sales that have a major impact on our business, many stakeholders and longer sales cycles (6+ months)
  • An ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated by previous experience using systems for tracking sales, determining ROI, and developing data-driven strategies
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills: negotiation, deal creation and presentation skills
  • A structured and organized problem solver, who can drive projects to completion with minimal direction and high attention to detail

Position Details

We are currently seeking a part-time Operations Specialist who will be responsible for duties necessary for the successful sanitation of reusables, logistics, and warehouse activities. This is a critical role in the day-to-day operations that will contribute to the overall success of our service. We work in a light-filled warehouse in the Inner Eastside neighborhood. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about sustainability and looking to make a real impact in their community.

 

Job Type

Part-time, 17.5 to 25 hours weekly. Weekend availability is required. Approximately 90% of the position will be warehouse-based, and the other 10% will be on-road logistics work utilizing a company cargo van. 

 

Compensation 

Starting at $18 per hour plus benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, Oregon Saves Roth IRA, paid holidays and paid time off. 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reusable packing for delivery 
  • Make deliveries of clean inventory to participating vendors
  • Collect returned containers from Bold Reuse and partner drop sites
  • Record delivery and collection data accurately 
  • Help manage container inventory at Bold Reuse HQ
  • Restock marketing materials at partner vendors and drop site locations

 

Requirements:

  • Current driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly, read/write/record data and perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Reliable; consistently at work and on time
  • Observes and follows proper safety procedures; willing to report potentially unsafe conditions
  • Must be able to work well with as part of a team
  • Capable of lifting 25-50lbs
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and effectively troubleshoot under stressful conditions

 

Physical Demands

While performing delivery duties, the employee is required to drive a company van, carry clean reusables to vendors and collect containers from our dropsites. While working in the warehouse, employees are required to stand for long periods of time, and the ability to wash, carry, lift and manipulate foodware and glassware. While performing their duties, delivery employees will be required to lift boxes up to 40lbs.

Primary Responsibilities
